Lincoln families: Share your commute stories

I had to smile a little on Monday morning. My husband has been commuting from Bremerton to Everett since he joined the Lincoln's crew last year. On Monday, instead of crawling out of bed at 4 to leave and catch the 5:10 Kingston ferry, he was still home at 6:30. He even took our son to catch his bus at the stop at 6:45. Heaven!
Now I know that families in Everett probably aren't enjoying this too much. Share your commuting stories. How is your family adjusting? What are you doing to ease the transition? The one really crucial thing we tried to do for the last several months before the move to Bremerton was get everyone to bed early. Even my husband and I would be in bed by 9.
