The cry is heard each year around this time. And it's not just about the annual college football matchup between the Naval Academy and West Point.
Here in the Northwest, Navy, represented by the Bangor Renegades, earned bragging rights with its win of the Commander's Cup in last month's match against the Fort Lewis Stud Dogs.
This Friday, the Navy flag football team tries to make it a sweep with the Army-Navy game at Silverdale Stadium. The 10th annual faceoff gets started at 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public (see this PDF flier for details).
The big show, Saturday's 110th annual Army-Navy college football game, will be televised on CBS beginning at 2:30 p.m. Eastern. In the Puget Sound area, that is scheduled to be on KIRO 7 at 11:30 a.m. Pacific.
